Want to crush it on social media? Your content performance is your secret weapon to stay ahead of the game.
With Vista Social, you can run post performance reports to analyze how your posts are performing and see what’s hitting the mark. That leads to improvement.
Getting Started with Post Performance Reports
Let’s jump in and check it out. First, go to the report section in your dashboard. Click on “Run Report”, then “Post Performance”. Once the report screen appears, select your preferred date range at the top right. It’s that easy!
Understanding Your Report Data
So what do you get in the post performance reports? Let’s break it down.
You’ll get a summary of the total number of your post impressions and engagements. Want to know your engagement rate? It’s right here as well, showing you how much interaction your content is getting relative to your impressions.
If you like adding labels to your posts when scheduling them, you’ll also get insights on how many posts you have created per post label and the engagements you got for those posts. Plus, you’ll get insights on the top performing posts during your selected period.
Network-Specific Metrics
What’s even better is with network-specific reports you can explore the metrics available across different socials. On Instagram, for example, you’ll get a detailed look at your impressions, likes, comments, shares, engagements, plays for videos, and watch time in total minutes.
Facebook, on the other hand, offers the same metrics but gives you a breakdown of organic and paid impressions. On X, you see metrics like organic and paid impressions, likes, comments, retweets, and engagements, both with organic and paid.
And for LinkedIn company pages, they include impressions, likes, comments, shares, and engagement, while personal profiles track likes, comments, shares, and engagement. By the way, we have several other cool widgets for more social networks we support, and the stuff we talked about are just a few examples. Pretty awesome, right?
Automating Your Reports
Need to automate your post performance report? No problem. Just go to Reports, select “Scheduled Report”, then choose “Post Performance” as your report type. You can even run a post label specific reports on your preferred date recurrence.
